So I'm here at work eating my Power Bar for my 3 o'clock snack (yes, I'm doing that diet again) and I notice something shiny on my finger. My Power Bars have some caramel like substance (I say that very losely, the actual molecular make up is still unknown. I actually think it's paste) so I think oh, that's what it is, no prob bro, I got this under control. So I lick it off my finger.
Haha no, that is not what it is at all. As soon as it was in my mouth I was totally confused... it was like eating perfume, nothing like caramel or paste. I have no idea what it is but it tastes like a French china shop and it's freaking me out.
Appearantly when I was doing the laundry a minute before I got a significant amount of liquid laundry detergent on my finger... how did I not notice this when it happened... why did I not realize that only a minute before I was handling a shiny liquid and it could have easily need what was on my finger and there for is not a good candidate for things to go in my mouth... I don't know, my ways are a mystery to me, but I did forget and now it was in my mouth.
So... my mouth tasted that way for a good hour... even the paste bar didn't cover it up. moral of the story... no more licking unknown substances for me, I'm officially retired.
